Power & Controls
The tensioner tracks are electrically powered. The squeeze force and breakback operation are hydraulic. To provide these powers to the tensioner a 10 ft container is also delivered.
Inside this container there is a 11 kW power pack and and a central control cabinet which regulates the power to the tensioner and power pack. The remaining space of the container is used for storage.
The tensioner is controlled from a local operating panel that can be flexibly installed. With the display, the operator can monitor various system performances.
The tensioner itself also features the same controls, allowing for flexibility — especially during cable loading.
